Director & Producer – Melissa Dunne
A first time documentary film maker Melissa is known primarily as a writer and director for theatre. She has directed theatre projects focusing on social equality at the Southbank Centre as part of Women of the World Festival and ‘Scenes from the Stephen Lawrence Enquiry’ at the Houses of Parliament. She has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and is a lecturer in playwriting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. www.papercuttheatre.co.uk
Production Manager – Jennie Wightman
Jennie previously worked for seven years in Production Management for various Documentary Production Companies, including the CBBC where she travelled to countries across Africa and Asia. This brought Jennie face to face with the suffering and inequalities experienced by many people in developing countries and inspired her to work towards redressing this through working with the charity Chain of Hope.
Director of Photography – James Stittle
James Stittle (DOP/Camera Op) has 9 years of experience in film and television, working on numerous projects from Hollywood blockbusters to television documentaries. After studying film at Roehampton he began his career working as location scout for films and commercials. His real passion lay with cameras and after few years working hard to open doors he moved on to the camera department. Specialising mainly in documentary due to his passion for the medium, James has shot across the world on projects for TV and online. James often chooses to work on films that revolve around social or human issues; topics that are close to his heart and fuel for his love of documentary filmmaking.
